Lucy Johnson Seattle Interior Designer

I am particularly interested in helping clients with Universal Design (accessible and usable design) while keeping projects environmentally responsible. My Native American heritage has shaped my aesthetic over the years. Being a gardener, mother and artist, I have always chosen paths that maximize sustainable interior design. The 3 R’s (Recycle, Reuse, Reduce) were childhood activities which continue today.

I have had experiences that have lead me to understanding the need for Universal Design in a personal way. These experiences have strengthened my sensitivity and creativity toward adapting spaces that not only are accessible, but emphasis a client’s style whether they prefer modern, traditional, transitional or scandinavian.
